THEA(TASP) EXEMPTION
|
Effective September 1, 2003:
The following THEA(TASP) Exemption will NO longer be accepted by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board for semesters beginning September 1, 2003 or after.
(1) “B” or better rule
(2) 3.5 High School GPA
(3) College credit prior to Fall 1989.
Effective Fall 1997:
ACT
:: Composite of 23 with minimum of 19 on both English & Math; or
TAAS
:: Minimum of 1770 on Writing, with Texas Learning Index(TLI) of 86 on Math & 89 on Reading; or
SAT
(Tests taken April 1995 & after)
:: Combined Verbal & Math of 1070 with minimum of 500 on both Verbal & Math; or
(Tests taken prior to April 1995)
:: Combined Verbal & Math of 970 with minimum of 420 on Verbal & 470 on Math

:: Official Transcripts are not issued until all obligations to the college are cleared.
