Students may begin requesting time permits for Spring 2012 registration starting Monday, Oct. 17. Requests should be made at the Admissions/Registrars.
Early online registration will begin on Oct. 31 and advisor-assisted registration, which requires a time permit, will being on Nov. 7.
"We encourage all eligible students to register online," registrar Luis Fernandez said. "It saves the students time and gives them the best possible selection of classes and instructors."
Fernandez added that all students who plan to go through advisor-assisted registration should make preparations before reporting to register.
"Before coming in at their assigned time, students should look at their degree plans and start pre-selecting courses they would like to take in the spring," Fernandez said. "Pre-selecting courses will cut the time it takes to register and help reduce the amount of time students have to wait in line."
Students currently enrolled in any developmental course must have at least a "B" or better mid-term grade in their developmental courses before being able to register starting Nov. 7.
"If a student does not have at least a B in all their developmental classes they will be issued a time permit to register in January," Fernandez said.
A copy of the spring schedule will be posted on the college web site prior to the start of online registration on Oct. 31.
