Advisor-assisted registration is back in full swing following the annual Christmas break.

Students are reminded to schedule a registration time by getting a time permit at the Flores Student Services Building.

"To get a time permit, students can either come by the Flores Building or call 591-7255," SWTJC registrar Luis Fernandez said. "We still have plenty of time slots available this week, but I'm sure they will fill up fast, so students need to get one as soon as possible."

Fernandez also notes that online registration is also still available for eligible students.

Special on-site registration will be held Wednesday, Jan. 4, in Del Rio and on Thursday, Jan. 5, in Eagle Pass.

As of Monday morning, Jan. 2, a total of 3,783 students had registered for spring classes.
The first day of class for the spring 2012 semester will be Monday, Jan. 16.
