Registration for fall classes at SWTJC is right around the corner.
Online registration for qualifying students starts July 23. Online registration is available to any student not required to take developmental classes.
According to registrar Luis Fernandez, one of the biggest advantages to online registration is better class selection.
"Online registration starts a week before regular advisor-assisted registration," Fernandez said. "Students who get an early start have the best selection of classes and instructors."
Students not eligible for online registration, or students who choose to wait until regular registration begins on Aug. 1, need to make preparations now. FALL SCHEDULE
"All students who will not be registering online need to obtain time permits to schedule a specific day and time to meet with an advisor," Fernandez said. "Time permits may be obtained at the Flores Student Services Building in Uvalde, or at main administration buildings in Eagle Pass and Del Rio."
Whether registering online or in person, Fernandez urges all students to create a tentative schedule of classes they want to take before beginning the registration process.
"A little advance planning on the part of students will make things easier for them and their advisors," Fernandez said.
Printed copies of the schedule are available at the Flores Student Services Building and at main offices in Crystal City, Del Rio, Eagle Pass and Hondo.
