A total of 6,270 students enrolled for classes this fall, but a large number still need to make payment arrangements or they will be dropped from classes.

"Students need to make their payment arrangements now," registrar Luis Fernandez said. "If students don't make arrangements we will be forced to drop them from classes."

According to Fernandez, enrollment at the end of late registration totaled 1,467 for Eagle Pass, 1,450 for Uvalde and 1,048 for Del Rio. A total of 205 students are registered for classes at the SWTJC Instructional Facility in Crystal City.

High school dual credit enrollment totals 1,525 and 459 students are only taking classes on the Internet.

SWTJC's all-time enrollment record of 6,293 was set in the fall of 2010. Last year's fall enrollment was 5,664.
