Dr. Daniel Leskovar, Ph.D., of the Texas A&M AgriLife Research and Extension Center in Uvalde will be the featured speaker on Oct. 11 at Southwest Texas Junior College as part of the Phi Theta Kappa Honors Lecture Series.
A professor in vegetable stress physiology at the Department of Horticultural Sciences, Leskovar also serves as director of the Uvalde center.
His presentation on Thursday is titled: "Corn: Linking Production, Uses and Health."
Leskovar will be speaking starting at 11 a.m. in the Bluebonnet Room of the Matthews Student Center.
