A "public" Wi-Fi connection is now available on the Uvalde campus and will be coming soon to college facilities in Eagle Pass, Del Rio and Crystal City.
According to SWTJC Dean of Institutional Advancement and Technology Dr. Blaine Bennett, users on the Uvalde campus will be able to access the wireless network without a password.
"Devices may lose the signal upon entering some buildings, but the signal will be accessible from outdoors anywhere on campus," Bennett said. "We have also purchased equipment and will be installing it soon to make Wi-Fi available in Crystal City, Del Rio and Eagle Pass."
