Cowgirls win second straight over SPC

The SWTJC Cowgirls made it two in a row over St. Philip's College, posting a 60-46 win on Wednesday night (Feb. 20) in San Antonio.

According to Cowgirls coach Jesus Garcia, leading scorers for the Cowgirls were Abigail Robb and Victoria Rios, 18 points each and Laura Torres with 13 points.

With the win, SWTJC's league record improves to 9-2. The Cowgirls remain one game behind league leader Victoria College at 10-1.

The SWTJC Cowboys lost, 96-103, to SPC on Wednesday night. SWTJC's season record in the league is now 5-7 which puts them in fourth place in the seven-team league. Victoria College with a perfect 13-0 record is in first place followed by SPC at 10-2 and Northwest Vista College with a record of 8-4.
