Victoria College won both the women's and men's divisions of the Texas Collegiate Club Sports League Championship Tournament held April 6-7 at Incarnate Word University in San Antonio.

In the women's division, Victoria College downed the SWTJC Cowgirls, 70-53, in the tournament finals on Sunday (April 7).

"It was a disappointing end to a great season," SWTJC coach Jesus Garcia said. "This is the best finish in school history for our women's team, but we sure wanted to come home with the championship trophy."

SWTJC advanced to the women's final with a 72-65 win over St. Philip's College on Saturday.

In the men's division, Victoria College downed St. Philip's College for the title. The SWTJC Cowboys lost to Victoria College, 102-95, in the semi-finals on Saturday.
