A bus from Laredo LBJ High School crashed on State Highway 140 Thursday afternoon en route to the 8th Annual SWTJC Criminal Justice Competition.

According to SWTJC criminal justice instructor J.J. Suarez, the accident occurred when the bus failed to make a major turn on the highway just east of Ft. Inge County Park.

"One advisor and two students were airlifted to San Antonio," Suarez said Friday morning. "I don't have an update on their status. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all those involved in this accident."
