Health Career College Enrichment Program 2013

ahec 2013 Southwest Texas Junior College held a Health Career Enrichment Program from May 20th through May 31st for the 2013 Academic year. The program was sponsored by Southwest Border AHEC and provided educational opportunities for college students interested in pursuing a health career. The purpose of the program is to facilitate the entry of these students into medical and/or health professional schools by improving their performance on admission tests and enhancing their academic standing. The health Career College Enrichment Program provided an introduction to health careers with an emphasis on the development of critical thinking, communication and study skills, through enrichment in chemistry and biology.
