Student orientation seminar slated Tuesday, Oct. 1, on LGBT issues

A student orientation seminar addressing LGBT issues is on tap Tuesday, Oct. 1, on the Uvalde campus from 11 a.m. until noon in the Tate Auditorium.

Dr. Todd T. Russell from Sul Ross State University – Rio Grande College and Sonia Flores, counselor at the SWTJC Eagle Pass campus, will be presenters.

Additional student orientation seminars are scheduled in Uvalde on each Thursday from now through Nov. 21. All seminars will be held in the Tate Auditorium from 11 a.m. until noon.

All students enrolled in new student orientation class are required to attend a minimum of four seminars during the semester. There will be sign-in sheets at each seminar.
