What to expect during testing
All students taking an exam are required to show identification before testing. Without a picture ID, the Distance Learning Department will deny access to the exam at the testing site.
Provide the reservation ticket received in the confirmation e-mail:
This will make the sign in process run more smoothly and assure the student access to the correct materials allowed by the instructor.
Sign into Moodle, Portal, etc:
Where ever a student will normally go to complete an exam or graded work. Testing staff will not know this; students must know where to go to complete their final.
Exams are password protected:
The exam page will require a password. Passwords are confidential and only testing personnel may enter the password for the student. Students must raise their hand when ready for the exam.
Testing staff will be present in the rooms to ensure no students cheat or use materials not allowed to them. Exams are monitored remotely which means testing staff can view the computers used by students at all times.
If a student has completed their exam and they do not have another exam to take, they are free to leave the testing area. Be sure to log out of your Moodle, Portal, etc before leaving. No signing out is required.
Taking another exam:
If as student has completed one exam and has to take another, they must go back to the sign in desk before beginning the next exam and begin the process again.
