Student who are eligible to graduate must complete and submit an Application for Graduation. The application may be obtained in person or on-line. To obtain in person, Uvalde students must go to the Flores Building (Registrar's Office). Applications can be picked up at the Administration Building of the Del Rio, Eagle Pass, and Crystal City campuses.

May Graduation* - Application deadline is March 15, 2014
August Graduation - Application deadline is July 15, 2014
December Graduation - Application deadline is November 1, 2014
*Students who are eligible to attend the May ceremony each year are those who have completed their degree requirements in December of the previous year or will complete their degree requirements in May or August of the current year.
The 67th SWTJC Commencement Ceremony will be held at the Uvalde Honey Bowl, starting at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 10, 2014.
Seating for family friends will be on the west side of the stadium. Only graduates and school officials will be allowed on the field, until the ceremony is officially concluded. Following the ceremony, graduates and their families are invited to a reception in the Matthews Student Center Ballroom on the SWTJC campus at 2401 Garner Field Road.
Graduates may pick up their official diplomas/certificates in the Matthews Student Center Conference Rooms prior to attending the reception following the Commencement Ceremony.
