Engineering is a very broad field that covers many disciplines; consequently, there is a significant variance in engineering curricula among our state institutions. The content areas of the field of study courses are from two areas of mathematics, two areas of science, and two areas of engineering. For a number of students, credits in some of these math and science courses would also satisfy components of the core curriculum.

*All students are required to take ORIE 0100 and ENGR 1201; however, these courses do not count toward degree requirements.

**Recommended for university transfer programs, but not included in SWTJC degree.
