| Anna H. Baker Memorial Scholarship |
The Board of Trustees of Southwest Texas Junior College has set aside a portion of the earnings from stock in the First State Bank of Uvalde acquired by the college from the estate of Anna H. Baker, a long time resident of Uvalde and friend of the college, to endow a scholarship fund as a memorial to the late Anna H. Baker. The recipients of the scholarship are selected by the SWTJC Scholarship Committee.
