| The Gilbert C. Bermea Scholarship |
This scholarship recognizes the efforts, devotion, commitment, and dedication of this college educator to the Eagle Pass area residents by establishing and directing higher education programs in the Eagle Pass, Texas area. This scholarship demonstrates our appreciation for his many years of loyalty to SWTJC and for being here for our students and faculty.
An applicant for this scholarship should:
1. Meet all entrance requirements of SWTJC;
2. Be an Eagle Pass area student showing promise of success and attending the Eagle Pass campus;
3. Have a scholastic record that would justify consideration for a scholarship;
4. Pursue either an A.A. or A.A.S. degree.
This scholarship will pay tuition and fees while the student is on the scholarship.
