Admissions Process

In order for the admission process to begin, the following must be submitted:

1. A completed application for admissions.  Go to SWTJC web page and apply online.
2. An official transcript of high school grades.
3. Completed and signed Concurrent/Dual Credit form.
4. Receipt and verification that college entrance testing requirements or exemptions have been met.  These scores must be provided.

Testing requirements for Dual Credit/Concurrent Enrollment Students

Potential dual credit students must fulfill TSI requirements by:

1. Being exempt with specific scores via SAT, ACT, and exit-level 11th grade TAKS scores.
2. taking the ACCUPLACER exam and receiving the minimum passing score on the applicable sections required for entry level in the course desired.
